Vice Provost for Enrollment Management

Reporting to the Provost, the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management (VPEM) will serve as UMBC’s chief architect of a comprehensive, institution-wide enrollment strategy, tasked with guiding planning and execution across all degree levels and aligning enrollment efforts with student success. The VPEM will provide leadership for Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Academic and Pre-Professional Advising, and the Registrar’s Office, as well as coordination and support for Graduate Admissions and offerings through the Division of Professional Studies. This leader will help UMBC meet students where they are and confidently take calculated risks that position the University to thrive amid a competitive, fast-changing environment. Building on strong undergraduate momentum, the VPEM will leverage cross-campus partnerships to elevate enrollment outcomes. In doing so, the VPEM will drive strategic planning and operational excellence across recruitment and retention, strengthening UMBC’s ability to attract and support a diverse student body.
